Poisoned Cherries
She was drawn to him, to the monster, the demon with the sweet tongue. She was pulled like a magnet to his trap, she just couldn't control the need she had for him. The desires of seeing him, of having him around, the uncontrollable urge to be by his side; even if it wasn't going to be for long. She had always been aware that he didn't feel the same way; for him she was only the distraction to find when things got boring at home. Everytime she met him, her heart would shatter like glass over and over realizing he hadn't changed. He would always keep his perfect image, the good husband and father.
Actually deep down she once or twice desired to be her, meaning the wife, the woman who he deep down cared for, he never wanted to hurt her feelings, he protected that at whatever cost. His family that was untouchable, he kept the image he needed and he knew how. He was good, you could say a devil indeed. He might have said things weren't good at home, but he loved her, he knew she was his important person, the woman he would spend his life with. She knew that too, this girl who knew she was just a toy, the toy you hide and only seek when you need some extra fun.
She knew she had to break things up for good, after all he wasn't going to ever really take her seriously or care for her. He could awe her or sweet talk her into many things but in her heart she knew reality. She knew that a man like that doesn't leave his family for a fling, if he did care for her he could have choosen her after all he wasn't even married when they met.
She always knew she couldn't love him, she didn't have his permission to do so. She was never gonna be granted that, and that was the only thing that had always kept her in line. Now after everything she was finally on the verge of destroying the door she opened to the demon with the sweet tongue. The monster that got anything he desired; she finally could stand a chance if she closed and destroyed every possible connection and way of communication with him.
She had the memories to erase too, the spells that trapped her into that repetitive behaviors of falling over the same trick and trap once and over again.
She knew he never meant a word, it was and would always just be his ways of fooling her into his game.
